Este folleto examina los mecanismos nacionales de prevención de crímenes atroces, de guerra, contra la humanidad y el genocidio en Kenia, Tanzania, Uganda, Paraguay, Costa Rica y Estados Unidos, tal prevención se enmarca en la Convención de Naciones Unidas para la prevención y sanción del delito de genocidio. Destacan mecanismos en proceso de construcción en Ecuador y Uganda. Así también proyectos de mecanismos: uno regional para Latinoamérica y un mecanismo global. La construcción de estos mecanismos tiene limitaciones de presupuesto, legitimidad y debilidad de institucionalización.This booklet reviews national mechanisms for mass atrocity crimes, war crimes, and genocide prention in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Paraguay, Costa Rica and United States, within the framework of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
