Propuesta de una guía funcional y estructural de puntos de encuentro para el cumplimiento del régimen de visitas supervisadas para niños, niñas, adolescentes y sus progenitores en Cuenca, en el período 2023

The family meeting points, understood as spaces that allow the meeting between children, adolescents and their parents, in cases of break-up or non-formation of a couple, which present factors such as violence or high conflict in the treatment; They are shown as an alternative within the therapeutic justice approach that tries to safeguard compliance with family rights and guarantee positive parenting. The general objective of this study was to design a proposal for a guide for the creation of meeting points from the structural and functional aspects, for compliance with the regime of visits under supervision for children, adolescents and their parents in Cuenca-Ecuador, in the period 2023. Has a qualitative approach, descriptive scope and phenomenological design. The techniques that were applied to achieve the general objective were documentary review and in-depth interviews to identify the perceptions of nursery schools, psychologists, social workers and experts from the Judicial Unit for Family, Women, Children and Adolescents of Cuenca, regarding their experience with the situation under study. As a result of this work, a guide design was obtained for the establishment of meeting points that facilitate the execution of a supervised visitation regime, with the purpose of guaranteeing the bond between parents and children in Cuenca-Ecuador, as well as the criteria of professionals linked to the supervision of these visiting processes, the needs, realities, possibilities and limitations of these family meeting points.
