Family mediation is an alternative conflict resolution process that prioritizes the well-being of the family so that the parties involved can resolve or minimize the dispute; Through interdisciplinary dialogue, psychologists and other legal operators act together as mediators. According to studies, the mediator is an important figure in mediation; It is not the one who solves or resolves disputes, but rather, through a timely process leads to firm steps to make it beneficial and productive, through consensus and subsequent agreement. The general objective of the research was to describe the quality of family mediation processes carried out in mediation centers belonging to Cuenca, Azuay, in 2023. The study has a quantitative approach, a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive scope. We worked with a population of 31 mediators from six mediation centers in Cuenca, Azuay. To this end, the instruments that were applied were the sociodemographic file that characterized the population and the Questionnaire for the Evaluation of the Quality of Family Mediation Processes ECAME 2.0, which evaluated the quality of mediation. As results it was found that it was women who most carried out family mediation processes, in addition the predominant component in the quality of mediation is the resolutive and the dimension was that of participation. In Cuenca, Azuay there is a high quality of measurement by the professionals of the six mediation centers, which evidences high standards of family mediation.
