The following work responds to the need of having a methodology that allows the organization and systematization of the automotive appraising work. Even though, it does not entail a step-by-step procedure, it aims to make recommendations and provide guidelines that, to the authors reasoning and expertise, must be considered in the performance of such an activity.El presente trabajo responde a la necesidad de contar con una metodología que permita organizar y sistematizar el trabajo pericial automotriz. El mismo no pretende proporcionar una metodología totalmente elaborada pero si hacer algunas recomendaciones y pautas a seguir que a criterio de los autores y de acuerdo con su experiencia se deben tener en cuenta en el desarrollo de dicha actividad.
