This research proposes a legal analysis of the effects of the denunciation by Venezuela of the Andean Sub regional Integration Agreement (Cartagena Agreement) on April 22, 2006, based on the functioning of the dispute settlement system, specifically through The interpretative work of the Court of Justice of the Andean Community (Andean Court) and the Supreme Court of Justice of Venezuela (Supreme Court). For the above reasons, the methodology of this research will be based on the documentary analysis of diverse legal sources (Treaties, Protocols, Constitution, Judgments) and bibliographical.Este trabajo de investigación propone un análisis jurídico de los efectos de la denuncia que hizo Venezuela del Acuerdo de Integración Subregional Andino (Acuerdo de Cartagena) el 22 de abril de 2006, a partir del funcionamiento del sistema de solución de controversias, específicamente a través de la labor interpretativa del Tribunal de Justicia de la Comunidad Andina (Tribunal Andino) y del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia de Venezuela (Tribunal Supremo). Por las razones expuestas, la metodología de esta investigación se basará en el análisis documental de diversas fuentes legales (Tratados, Protocolos, Constitución, Sentencias) y bibliográficas.
