The research was developed in the Mulalo Parish, Latacunga Canton; Cotopaxi Province. The objective of the study was to determine if the pesticides in this case the organophosphates cause hepatic and renal changes in dogs living in the flower companies; there are investigations in humans where present hepatic and renal changes and even the death. It was possible to analyze the owners of the flower companies, namely there was a survey of the organophosphates use, in which the 75% of persons use the organophosphates. Also, there was an observation during two weeks to the behavior of each one of the dogs. The sanguineous biochemistry was done at the Dr. Diego Medina’s "LIFE PLANET" Veterinary Clinic. The study consisted to do a biochemistry analysis for each one of the dogs living in the flower companies taking into account the parameters of ALT (Alanine Transaminase), AST (Aspartate Transferase), Creatinine, Urea and Total Bilirubin....La investigación se realizó en la Parroquia de Mulaló, Cantón Latacunga, Provincia de Cotopaxi. El objetivo de estudio fue determinar si los plaguicidas en este caso los organofosforados causan alteraciones hepáticas y renales en los canes que habitan en las empresas florícolas, existen investigaciones realizadas en humanos en donde presentan alteraciones hepáticas y renales e incluso la muerte. Se logró hacer un análisis a los propietarios de las empresas florícolas, es decir se realizó una encuesta de la utilización de los orgafosforados, en el cual, el 75 % de las personas encuestadas utilizan los organofosforados. Se mantuvo una observación durante dos semanas en el comportamiento de cada uno de los canes. La bioquímica sanguínea se la realizo en la Clínica Veterinaria “PLANETA VIDA” del Dr. Diego Medina. El estudio consistió en realizar un análisis bioquímico a cada uno de los canes que habitan en las empresas florícolas tomando en cuenta los parámetros de ALT (Alanina Transaminasa), AST (Aspartato Transferasa), Creatinina, Urea y Bilirrubina Total.....
