INTRA-FAMILY VIOLENCE: FROM A GENDER APPROACH
La violencia intrafamiliar: Desde el enfoque de género

Resumen
Intrafamily violence is understood from a gender perspective any action committed in the family nucleus, whether by one or more of its members causing them physical, psychological, economic or sexual harm, the same that has generated the deterioration of affective and communicative relationships in the family system, determining the impact it has had on women in the Santa Rosa parish, Cantón Salinas, through the application of qualitative methodology. For this study, 7 women victims of violence were interviewed randomly and individually within the family, to find out what factors are involved in the execution of the violence and how this affects their lives and those of their children. Among the main findings, it was evidenced that women victims of violence present emotional-psychological effects and for fear of being judged by society, they fear denouncing the perpetrators, who are their partners, who are mostly fishermen who consume illegal substances subject to control as something. Common and habitual, on the other hand, do not know the course of action and protocols in case of violence.

La violencia intrafamiliar desde el enfoque de género, es comprendida como toda acción cometida en el núcleo familiar, ya sea por uno o varios de sus miembros ocasionándoles daños físicos, psicológico, económico o sexual, la misma que ha generado el deterioro de las relaciones afectivas y comunicativas en el sistema familiar, determinando el impacto que ha ocasionado en las mujeres de la parroquia Santa Rosa, del Cantón Salinas, mediante la aplicación de la metodología cualitativa, para este estudio se entrevistó de manera aleatoria e individual a 7 mujeres víctimas de violencia intrafamiliar, para conocer qué factores indicen para ejecución de la violencia y como este repercute en la vida de ellas y las de sus hijos. Entre los principales hallazgos se evidenciaron que las mujeres víctima de violencia presentan afectaciones emocional-psicológica y por miedo a ser juzgadas por la sociedad temen a denunciar a los victimarios que son sus parejas quienes en su mayoría son pescadores que consumen sustancias ilícitas sujetas a fiscalización como algo común y habitual, por otro lado, desconocen la ruta de actuación y protocolos ante caso de violencia.
