Over the years, Guápulo has been an important neighborhood in the city of Quito, which despite its importance and having significant landmarks for the city, has not been able to fully develop its tourist and cultural potential. For this reason, it is proposed to create a media library that intervenes with the Church and the Sek University, enhancing the cultural meaning they possess. The intervention of the building is based on contrast and harmony, creating a totally contemporary building, visually managing to attract the user's attention, but at the same time keeping the proportions of the Church...A lo largo de los años Guápulo ha sido un barrio importante de la ciudad de Quito , el cual, a pesar de su importancia y de poseer hitos significativos para la ciudad, no ha podido desarrollar su potencial turístico y cultural en su totalidad. Por esta razón se plantea crear una mediateca que intervenga con la Iglesia y la Universida Sek , realzando el significado cultural que poseen. La intervención del edficio se basa en el contraste y la armonía, creando un edifcio totalmente contemporáneo, logrando de manera visual llamar la atención del usuario, pero al mismo tiempo guardando las proporciones de la Iglesia...
