Abstract

This study has been carried out as a preventive maintenance plan design for the sealing area of a company dedicated to the manufacture of plastic products. The design of the preventive maintenance plan foresees an increase in the reliability of the machines, throughout the operational and productive process with which, based on a profitability analysis considering an investment of $37,834, a profitability (IRR) of 39% will be obtained. in a period of 2 years, maximizing resources and making the company more competitive and productive.
