Cine ecuatoriano: Estrategia de producción implementadas en épocas de pandemia

The present work seeks to describe the strategies implemented in the production of Ecuadorian cinema in times of pandemic, during the year 2020 and the first semester of 2021, a period affected by multiple factors, including the economic, political and health crisis that the country was experiencing. country, in addition to a low digital culture and a complex socioeconomic reality. This work is carried out under a qualitative exploratory research, which allows collecting information through primary sources. That is, through interviews with film producers, actors, directors and production graduates. In addition, the observation and collection of information is used through secondary sources such as journalistic notes from the main national media, the most used methodology in this work is the qualitative one. It is concluded that, from the perspective of the producers, the actors, relevant information is collected, the effects of the pandemic on the production of national cinema were aggravated by the crisis. On the other hand, the processes of transformation of the modes of production, distribution and marketing were assumed by independent producers. Finally, a trend was found in the national realization focused on the daily life of the confinement and the health crisis that the country was experiencing. El presente trabajo busca describir las estrategias implementadas en la producción del cine ecuatoriano en épocas de pandemia, durante el año 2020 y el primer semestre del 2021, un periodo afectado por múltiples factores, entre ellos, la crisis económica, política y sanitaria que vivía el país, además una baja cultura digital y una realidad socioeconómica compleja. Este trabajo se realiza bajo una investigación exploratoria cualitativa, que permite recolectar información a través de fuentes primarias.
Es decir, a través de entrevistas de productores de cine, actores, realizadores y licenciados en producción. Además, se emplea la observación y recolección de información a través de fuentes secundarias como notas periodísticas de los principales medios de comunicación nacional, la metodología más utilizada en este trabajo es la cualitativa.
Se concluye que, desde la perspectiva de los productores, los actores, se recolecta información relevante, lo efectos de la pandemia sobre la producción de cine nacional fueron agravados por la crisis. Por otra parte, los procesos de transformación de los modos de producción, de distribución y comercialización, fueron asumidos por los productores independientes.
Finalmente, se constató una tendencia en la realización nacional enfocada a la cotidianidad del confinamiento y l crisis sanitaria que vivía el país.
