The purpose of this investigative work was to propose didactic strategies for the strengthening of oral expression in children of initial II of the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit of the Manta Canton, Ecuador. The methodology corresponds to the mixed approach, and the research design is descriptive. The data collection techniques were the survey and observation; For the survey, the instrument used was the questionnaire and with respect to the observation, an observation sheet was prepared. From the observation, qualitative data is extracted, while the survey usually provides quantitative data. The population consisted of the six (6) teachers and twenty-six (26) children of the initial level II. To obtain the results of the investigation, the questionnaire was applied to the six (6) teachers and the observation sheet to the twenty-six (26) children. The questionnaire was analyzed through a specialized software, and allowed to know the perception of the teachers on the implementation of the didactic strategies for the development of the oral expression and the observation sheet allowed to observe in the children their behavior and skill in their oral expression. The results made it possible to provide teachers with a didactic strategy to guide the strengthening of oral expression in children of initial II.Este trabajo investigativo tuvo como propósito proponer estrategias didácticas para el fortalecimiento de la expresión oral en los niños de inicial II de la Unidad Educativa Juan Montalvo del Cantón Manta, Ecuador. La metodología corresponde al enfoque mixto, y el diseño de investigación es de tipo descriptiva. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la encuesta y la observación; para la encuesta el instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario y con respecto a la observación se elaboró una ficha de observación. A partir de la observación, se extraer datos cualitativos, mientras que la encuesta suele proporcionar datos cuantitativos. La población estuvo conformada por los seis (6) docentes y veintiséis (26) niños del nivel de inicial II. Para obtener los resultados de la investigación se aplicó el cuestionario a los seis (6) docentes y la ficha de observación a los veintiséis (26) niños. El cuestionario se analizó a través de un software especializado, y permitió conocer la percepción de los docentes sobre la implementación de las estrategias didácticas para el desarrollo de la expresión oral y la ficha de observación permitió observar en los niños su comportamiento y destreza en su expresión oral. Los resultados permitieron dotar a los docentes de estrategia didácticas para orientar el fortalecimiento de la expresión oral en los niños de inicial II.
