Without quality education for all, a knowledge society is impossible; emerging technologies contribute to the field of education, innovation and science. The use of technological tools improves skills, abilities and competitive advantages, so that the educator can improve his teaching practice and achieve autonomy, responsibility and meaningful learning in students. Therefore, managers, teachers and students of different educational institutions must take on the challenge of applying new technologies to ensure their use in the face of emerging skills. The objective of this research was to collect information in databases: DOAJ, DIALNET, GOOGLE ACADÉMICO and SCIELO, in the temporality 2018-2023, 1'219.746 articles were found that met search criteria. After systematization, 28 documents were selected for analysis. It is concluded that teacher training must be constant, continuous and keep pace with technological advances.Sin una educación de calidad para todos, es imposible una sociedad del conocimiento; las tecnologías emergentes contribuyen al ámbito de la educación, innovación y ciencia. Emplear herramientas tecnológicas mejoran habilidades, destrezas y ventajas competitivas, para que el educador mejores su práctica docente y logre autonomía, responsabilidad y un aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes. Por ende, los directivos, docentes y estudiantes de diferentes instituciones educativas, deben asumir el desafío de aplicar nuevas tecnologías, que garanticen su uso frente a las habilidades emergentes. El objetivo de esta investigación fue recopilar información en bases de datos: DOAJ, DIALNET, GOOGLE ACADÉMICO y SCIELO, en la temporalidad 2018-2023, se encontraron 1'219.746 artículos que cumplieron criterios de búsqueda. Posterior a la sistematización, se seleccionaron 28 documentos para su análisis. Se concluye que la formación docente debe ser constante, continúa y estar a la par con los avances tecnológicos.
