Every day it becomes more important for the educational community to work properly in EVA's environments, so in this work it was proposed to propose a methodological strategy to improve the teaching-learning process with the use of EVA's, of the Third Year of High School, to achieve this, a prior diagnosis of reality was used by means of an observational, exploratory methodology with a descriptive scope and a mixed, qualitative (interview, observation) and quantitative (survey) investigation supported by consulting the specialized bibliography and in field work. As main results, it was obtained that teachers have received training in digital skills and students have not; but it does not cause them problems in the domain of technology because they are digital natives, at the same time the Moodle platform is the most used by the educational institution, students use the computer and the telephone for their classes in virtual mode, as The teachers prefer the diagnostic, formative and summative evaluation, the students preferred the mixed modality since they consider that it helps them to elaborate their tasks and learning processes. It was concluded that in the use of virtual teaching-learning environments, new ways of working have been introduced according to methodologies based on constructivism, due to the opportunity that self-learning provides and the greater flexibility in activities, being the EVA in an environment very useful for the students of the third year of the Jorge Jeremy Educational Unit, of the La Sequita site of the Montecristi canton.Cada día cobra más importancia para la comunidad educativa el trabajar adecuadamente en entornos EVA´s, por lo que en este trabajo se planteó proponer estrategias metodológicas para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje con el uso de EVA´s, del Tercer Año de Bachillerato, para lograrlo se recurrió a un diagnóstico previo de la realidad por medio de una metodología observacional, exploratoria con alcance descriptiva y una investigación mixta, cualitativa (entrevista, observación) y cuantitativa (encuesta) apoyados en la consulta de la bibliografía especializada y en el trabajo de campo. Como principales resultados se obtuvo que los docentes han recibido capacitación en competencias digitales y los estudiantes no; pero no les causa problemas en el dominio de la tecnología porque son nativos digitales, al mismo tiempo la plataforma Moodle es la más utilizada por la institución educativa, los estudiantes utilizan la computadora y el teléfono para sus clases en modalidad virtual, como evaluación los docentes prefieren la diagnostica, formativa y sumativa, los estudiantes prefirieron la modalidad mixta ya que consideran que les ayuda para elaborar sus tareas y procesos de aprendizaje. Se concluyó que en el aprovechamiento de los entornos virtuales de enseñanza aprendizaje se han introducido nuevas formas de trabajo de acuerdo a metodologías basadas en el constructivismo, por la oportunidad que otorga el autoaprendizaje y la mayor flexibilidad en las actividades, siendo el EVA en un entorno de gran utilidad para los educandos del tercer año de la Unidad Educativa Jorge Jeremy, del sitio La Sequita del cantón Montecristi.
