The Covid-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is considered of great importanceas it is a public health problem. It is currently known that Covid-19 is a systemic diseasethat can affect multiple organs and tissues and can be fatal. Liver involvement in relationto Covid-19 resembles any liver damage that occurs during the disease process. Theobjective of this study is to analyze liver diseases and Covid-19: a public health problemworldwide due to the impact present on liver diseases such as: Cirrhosis, HepaticSteatosis, Hepatitis B and C, among others. For the development of the article, adescriptive research and documentary design was used, based on information collectedfrom articles published in the following data such as: Medline, Pubmed, Googleacademic, Elsevier and Scielo. With the Boolean AND, OR, NOT and MESH terms thataddress the liver, Covid-19, prevalence of liver diseases, diagnostic tests and the objectof study was investigated to describe the relationship that exists between these twovariables. Results: it was shown that there are different liver diseases related to Covid-19, with hepatitis C prevailing with 61.40% and Covid-19 with 46.2%, indicating thelaboratory diagnostic tests considered for the detection of liver diseases and Covid-19. Inconclusion, it was shown that there is an association between the different liver diseasesin Covid-19 positive patients.  La enfermedad del Covid-19 ocasionada por el virus SARS-CoV-2, es considerada degran importancia por ser un problema de salud pública. Se conoce actualmente que Covid-19, es una enfermedad sistémica que puede afectar múltiples órganos y tejidos que puedeser fatal. La afectación hepática en relación a la Covid-19 se asemeja a cualquier dañohepático que ocurre durante el proceso de la enfermedad. El presente estudio tiene comoobjetivo, Analizar las enfermedades hepáticas y Covid-19: un problema de salud públicaa nivel mundial por el impacto presente en las enfermedades hepáticas como: Cirrosis,Esteatosis hepática, Hepatitis B y C, entre otros. Para el desarrollo del artículo se utilizóuna investigación de tipo descriptivo y diseño documental, a partir de informaciónrecopilada de artículos publicados en los siguientes datos como: Medline, Pubmed,Google académico, Elsevier y Scielo. Con los booleanos AND, OR, NOT y términosMESH que abordan el hígado, Covid-19, prevalencia de las enfermedades hepáticas,pruebas diagnósticas y se procedió a investigar el objeto de estudio para describir larelación que existe entre estas dos variables. Resultados: se demuestro que existendiferentes enfermedades hepáticas relacionadas al Covid-19, prevaleciendo la hepatitis Ccon 61,40% y el Covid-19 con 46,2%, indicando las pruebas diagnósticas de laboratorioconsideradas para la detección de enfermedades del hígado y Covid-19. En conclusión,se evidenció que existe una asociación entre las diferentes enfermedades hepáticas enpacientes positivos de Covid-19.
