The pension system of Magisterio Nacional represents one of its most important achievements. However, on various occasions it has been under serious threats of reform. In 1995, a major reform was imposed on it, and many rights of future pensioners were eliminated. Here, we present the current system and provide part of the most important jurisprudence that has been issued with regard to this topic.El régimen de pensiones del magisterio nacional representa una de sus conquistas más importantes. Sin embargo, en diferentes oportunidades ha estado bajo fuertes amenazas de reforma. En el año 1995 se le impuso la reforma más importante y se eliminaron muchos derechos a los futuros pensionados. Damos a conocer el régimen vigente y ofrecemos parte de la jurisprudencia mas importante que se ha emitido entonro a ella.
