| dc.description | El café es una oportunidad para implementar sistemas cafetaleros agroecológicos. En los últimos años, la superficie cultivada aumenta en México, sin embargo, la producción no ha sido la esperada debido a factores ambientales atribuidos al cambio climático y a la incidencia de plagas que debilitan la producción, ocasionando un inestable precio del producto, que afecta a los productores. Existen opciones que ofrecen beneficios económicos a través de la producción, como la obtención de certificaciones ambientales que permiten verificar la procedencia orgánica y la trazabilidad sustentable del producto, así como obtener bonos por prestación de servicios ambientales que ayudan a implementar cultivos agroecológicos. | |

In recent years, the cultivated area has increased in Mexico, however, production has not been as expected due to environmental factors attributed to climate change and the incidence of pests that weaken production, causing an unstable price of the product, which affects the producers. There are options that offer economic benefits through production, such as obtaining environmental certifications that allow verifying the organic origin and sustainable traceability of the product, as well as obtaining bonuses for the provision of environmental services that help implement agroecological crops. | |
