En este trabajo se hace un análisis crítico de una categoría fundamental en la Filosofía de la Liberación de Enrique Dussel: el fetichismo. En primer lugar, se realiza una genealogía del concepto, en donde se especifican diferencias cruciales entre la critica semita a la idolatría que retoma Dussel, y la configuración histórica del discurso mercantilista del fetiche en la conquista europea del África subsahariana. Posteriormente, se realiza una revisión del lugar teórico del fetichismo en la lectura que Dussel hace de la obra de Karl Marx. En ella se distinguirán tres dimensiones analíticas del concepto: la lógica, la ontológica y la ideológica. Finalmente, se analizan los dos momentos de la dialéctica anti-fetichista que propone este autor.In this article it is critically analyzed a fundamental category from Enrique Dus-sel’s Philosophy of Liberation: fetishism. First, a genealogy of the concept is made, in which we specify some crucial differences between the semitic critique to idolatry, from the historical configuration of the mercantilistic discourse of the fetish during the european conquer of sub-saharian Africa. Then, we analyze the theoretical place of fetishism in Dussel’s reading of the work of Karl Marx. Here we distinguish three different analytical dimensions of the concept: the logical, the ontological and the ideological. Finally, we review the two dialectical moments of the anti-fetishism process proposed by Dussel.
