| dc.description | Durante el gobierno del general Manuel A. Odría (1948-1956) emergieron o se actualizaron en Perú las diversas y no siempre convergentes corrientes del nacionalismo cultural, apoyándose por un lado en la biología andina y el higienismo indigenista, y por el otro en el folclore y la etnología, además de la literatura y del arte. La Guerra Fría y la dictadura militar marcaron la contradictoriedad y diferencialidad de estas lógicas culturales nacionalistas, expresando con desigual intensidad sus referentes regionales y sus expresiones etnoclasistas. En ese contexto, nos aproximaremos al autoritario y etnocida indigenismo oficial, a las expresiones ideológicas de la mestizofilia, así como a las entidades regionalistas y sus proyectos identitarios. | |

Odría (1948-1956), the diverse and not always convergent currents of cultural nationalism emerged or were updated in Peru, relying on the one hand on Andean biology and indigenous hygienism, and on the other on the folklore and ethnology, in addition to literature and art. The Cold War and the military dictatorship marked the contradictoriness and differentiality of these nationalist cultural logics, expressing with unequal intensity their regional referents and their ethno-class expressions. In this context, we will approach the authoritarian and ethnocidal official indigenism, the ideological expressions of mestizophilia, as well as the regionalist entities and their identity projects. | |
