This article exposes the systematization of the ideas of the Enlightenment, which was the contribution of advanced intellectuals to the century of the revolutions of the modern era. The revolutionary contribution of this century consisted in staging both the industrial revolution and the political revolution. Both the industrial and political revolutions engendered in turn the social revolution and with it the advent of a new classist hegemony; the bourgeoisie on the proletariat and the other social sectors existing at the time.En este artículo se expone la sistematización de las ideas de la Ilustración que fue la contribución de intelectuales de avanzada al siglo de las revoluciones de la época moderna. El aporte revolucionario de tal centuria consistió en escenificar tanto la revolución industrial como la revolución política. Tanto la revolución industrial como la política engendraron a su vez la revolución social y con ella el advenimiento de una nueva hegemonía clasista; la burguesía sobre el proletariado y los demás sectores sociales existentes en la época.
