| dc.description | This article is subdivided into four main sections, which explore the following themes: filiations and the changes in alternative thinking during the 20th century, especially in regards to its confrontation with neo-liberalism and capitalist globalization; its ad hoc sources, such as the Dictionary of Alternative Thinking, academic institutions and congresses, political parties, and social movements; its main exponents, such as Boaventura de Sousa Santos and Pablo González Casanova; and, lastly, the singular expressions, disciplines, characters, and physical spaces related to the central issue. | |
