Linear Programming (PL) is a mathematical method of optimization, which allows to represent linear models to reduce costs or maximize profits in different areas of an organization. Therefore, it is used for the efficient administration of processes in all areas of the economy. In this sense, its field of application is very broad. In addition, there are different types of software on the market that facilitate the representation and solution of a PL model. In this way, it becomes a powerful tool in decision making. In the present work, some examples of application of the PL are addressed.
