Las imágenes dialécticas como constelaciones o Benjamin no sin Adorno

Abstract

Walter Benjamin consideraba que al filósofo le correspondía la tarea de crear otras maneras de pensar, de ver y de vivir, y que esta misión era urgente. Las imágenes dialécticas fueron pensadas así, como herramientas para combatir la fantasmagoría propia del capitalismo. Algunas veces las describió como constelaciones y trabajó arduamente en la idea de que contuvieran un carácter onírico y, por lo tanto, que pudieran ser inconscientes. Esta última característica la discutió arduamente con Adorno, quien siempre insistió en la importancia del polo objetivo de la dialectización. Aunque no cabe duda de que las imágenes dialécticas fueron un proyecto inconcluso de Benjamin, éstas no hubieran sido posibles sin la intervención crítica de Adorno.
