| dc.description | "La familia Theridiidae incluye algunas de las arañas más comunes, con 2000
especies en 45 géneros. En esta familia se encuentra el género Latrodectus, han
sido estudiadas desde el punto de vista médico, debido a su toxicidad y trastornos
morfofisiológicos que genera su picadura. El género presenta una amplia
distribución en el continente americano, encontrándose desde EUA hasta Chile.
Este género está actualmente reportado en prácticamente todos los estados de
México. En este trabajo se colectaron y revisaron los registros presentes en
ambos estados, verificando la presencia y aportando nuevos registros de
presencia en el estado de Coahuila y registros de distribución en el estado de
Sonora, de esta manera comprobando que los integrantes de este género tienen
gran capacidad de adaptación a los diferentes tipos de ambientes existentes en
nuestro país y considerando su importancia medica es importante seguir
estudiando si distribución en México, se realizó un nuevo registro estatal de
Latrodectus hesperus para el estado de Sonora" | |

studied from the medical point of view, due to their toxicity and
morphophysiological disorders generated by their bite. The genus has a wide
