dc.descriptionEl objetivo de la presente investigación consistió en determinar si es rentable aplicar el Paquete Tecnológico de manejo Integrado del Mango Ataulfo (MIM) dirigido a huertas con altas densidades de población, desarrollado y propuesto por el INIFAP para el municipio de Técpan de Galeana, Guerrero, México, con la finalidad de validar el paquete económicamente y promover su difusión en la región. El método de muestreo utilizado fue dirigido, a través de entrevistas directas a productores y técnicos agropecuarios. Se desarrollaron tres modelos diferentes de producción de mango, dos convencionales y el propuesto por el INIFAP, utilizando matrices de coeficientes técnicos para su análisis, se obtuvo como resultado que el modelo de manejo integrado de mango reflejó una mayor rentabilidad con un costo beneficio por hectárea de 3.7, mientras que los otros dos modelos arrojaron como resultado un coeficiente inferior a 2.6. _______________ PROFITABILITY AND COMPETITIVENESS, THE PRODUCTION OF MANGO ATAULFO (MANGIFERA INDICA L.) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TÉCPAN DE GALEANA, GUERRERO. ABSTRACT: The aim of this research consisted to determine if it is profitable to apply the technology package integrated management mango Ataulfo ( MIM ) aimed at orchards with high population densities, developed and Proposed by the INIFAP for the municipality of Técpan de Galeana , Guerrero Mexico, in order to validate the package economically and promote it is dissemination in the region. The sampling method used was directed through direct Agricultural Producers and technical Interviews. Three different models of mango production, two conventional and Proposed by the INIFAP were developed using matrices of technical coefficients for analysis was obtained as a result that the model of annexed integrated reflection handle higher profitability with cost benefit 3.7 hectare while the other two models gave results in a lower 2.6 coefficient.
