It serves as a motivation and historical source, to continue deepening the local facts, to continue strengthening the bibliography regarding the province, from its origins, advances and development in the future perspective of the microhistory, including its municipal districts, sections and places.El presente ensayo es una descripción histórica de la provincia Espaillat, donde se presentan los datos preponderantes de la misma con los municipios que la conforman, su origen, participación en los procesos por los que ha pasado a través del tiempo y su trascendencia en la historia nacional dominicana. Veremos que la contribución fue trascendental, llevando el municipio de Moca, el orgullo de considerarse Villa Heroica, Cuna de Hhéroes y Sepulturera de Tiranos, no menos importante es la historia que encierran los municipios de Gaspar Hernández, Cayetano Germosén, Jamao al Norte y San Víctor.El mismo sirve de motivación y fuente histórica, para continuar profundizando los hechos locales, para seguir fortaleciendo la bibliografía en lo concerniente a la provincia, desde sus orígenes, avances y desarrollo en perspectiva futura de la microhistoria, incluyendo sus distritos municipales, secciones y parajes.
