dc.descriptionThis volume contains statistical documents from the National Archive of Sucre on demographic issues (inhabitants according to race, sex, age), distributed in departments and provinces, prepared on the basis of the 1844, 1846, 1854 and 1890 censuses. Percentage data are recorded of instruction, physical handicaps and trades, as well as geographical news regarding the political and administrative divisions of Bolivia (1843, 1847, 1930), Peru (1836) and Chile in 1847. Also included are the itineraries of Tacna to Oruro and from Oruro to Chuquisaca, described by Belford Hinton Wilson; as well as, economic indexes relative to the contributions of indigenous people from Peru and Bolivia from the mid-nineteenth century, with distinction of gender and territorial possessions.en-US

Se registran datos porcentuales de instrucción, impedidos físicos y oficios, como también, noticias geográficas tocantes a las divisiones políticas y administrativas de Bolivia (1843, 1847, 1930), del Perú (1836) y de Chile en 1847. Se incluyen, además, los itinerarios de Tacna a Oruro y de Oruro a Chuquisaca, descritos por Belford Hinton Wilson; así como, índices económicos relativos a las contribuciones de indígenas del Perú y Bolivia de mediados del siglo XIX, con distinción de género y posesiones territoriales.
