| dc.description | Historiography of Durango has been directed to reconstructing the first two decades of the Nineteenth Century according the economic, political, and social structures associated to the struggle for Independence. However, local history has neglected other aspects, such as the cultural ones, attested by sensitive memory such as hearing. Those are present in the discourse of the sources of the state and diocesan archives. Recovering the concept of soundscape from sociology and leisure from philosophy, the aim of this article is committed to explain how the city and the dioceses of Durango expressed feelings and its ways of life through its sound perceptions, offering the opportunity to reconstruct their position in front of their time. | en-US |
| dc.description | La historiografía duranguense se ha dirigido a reconstruir las primeras dos décadas del siglo XIX según el encuadre de las estructuras económicas, políticas y sociales vinculadas a la lucha para la Independencia; sin embargo, la historia local ha descuidado otros aspectos, como los culturales, y algunos de ellos, atestiguados por la memoria sensible como la audición, están presentes en el discurso de las fuentes de los archivos estatal y diocesano. Por ello, este trabajo, recuperando el concepto de paisaje sonoro desde la sociología y del ocio desde la filosofía, apuesta en mostrar de qué manera la sociedad duranguense, en un espacio que rebasó la ciudad de Durango y extendiéndose hacia el gran espacio diocesano, expresó sus sentires y sus modos de vida a través de sus percepciones sonoras, ofreciendo con ello la oportunidad de reconstruir su posición frente a sus tiempos. | es-ES |
