dc.descriptionThe Secretariats of State in Mexico from a historical perspective have been little studied, the one in charge of Industry, Commerce and Labor is no exception. In the labor-emplo­yer sphere, the struggle between both sectors, the creation of associations, the workers’ struggle for their rights and the drafting of article 123 of the Political Constitution of 1917 have been the subject of multiple specialized works; However, the federal agency in char­ge of creating a link between the State and businessmen, industrialists and workers’ orga­nizations is a historiographic debt. This article studies the creation and the main challen­ges of this Secretariat throughout its first three years of existence (1917-1920) after the most turbulent stage of the Mexican Revolution and at the beginning of the reorganization of the Mexican administrative apparatus that more than Focusing on responding to social demands was aimed at achieving a better domination of the country in economic and po­litical terms.en-US
dc.descriptionLas Secretarías de Estado en México han sido poco estudiadas desde una óptica histórica y la encargada de la Industria, el Comercio y el Trabajo no es una excepción. En el ámbi­to obrero-patronal la pugna entre ambos sectores, la creación de asociaciones, la lucha de los trabajadores por sus derechos y la redacción del artículo 123 de la Constitución Po­lítica de 1917, son temas de análisis de múltiples trabajos especializados, no obstante, la dependencia federal encargada de crear un vínculo entre el Estado y los empresarios, in­dustriales y organizaciones obreras es una deuda historiográfica. Este artículo estudia la creación y los principales retos de esta Secretaría a lo largo de sus primeros tres años de existencia (1917-1920) tras la etapa más convulsa de la Revolución mexicana y en el ini­cio de la reorganización del aparato administrativo mexicano que más que enfocarse en responder las demandas sociales, buscó un mejor dominio del país, política y económica­mente hablando.es-ES
