dc.descriptionJuana Gutiérrez de Mendoza was an outstanding figure in the context of revolutionary Mexico, based on his extensive political and journalistic work. Its politicization was not spontaneous, this responded to a complex construction process within its private space, which allowed her to get involved in more complex issues as a militant, writer and jour­nalist. In our view, Gutiérrez de Mendoza caused controversy both for his political stance, expressed in his writings, and for being part of a female intellectuality of his time.en-US

Su politización no fue espontanea, respondió a un complejo proceso de construcción dentro de su espacio privado, lo que le permitió involucrarse en asuntos de mayor complejidad como militante, escritora y pe­riodista. A nuestro juicio, Gutiérrez de Mendoza causó polémica tanto por su postura po­lítica, expresada en sus escritos, como por formar parte de la intelectualidad femenina de su época.es-ES
