T: Thanks to the research in computer vision, the open source software and the advances in technology, it is possible to conduct an object reconstruction for new applications and scenarios such as the virtual and augmented reality. The aim of this tesis is to explore the viability of conducting object reconstruction for applications such as indoor mapping or video games. All the above utilizing a drone for imagery recovering and using free and open-source software to obtain a virtual copy of a given object. Reconstructed objects can be integrated into a virtual environment to be visualized using a goggle-headset in the context of video games or even virtual reality; this approach is studied in this work. To achieve the aforementioned goal, this work implements a technique named photogrammetry. Some experiments are presented showing the e_ectiveness of the proposed approach. Also, future work includes the direction in which this research could be performed.
