ANALISIS DEL CRECIMIENTO Y MADUREZ SEXUAL DE Cichlasoma trimaculatum (GüNTHER, 1867) DE LA SUBCUENCA RIO ATOYAC- PASO DE LA REYNA DE LA CUENCA RIO ATOYAC, OAXACA

Abstract

Se analizaron 173 organismos de Cichlasoma trimaculatum, colectados en el periodo de secas y lluvias de la subcuenca río Atoyac-Paso de la Reina, con el objetivo de determinar aspectos del crecimiento y madurez gonadal de la población de esta especie en la zona de estudio. Se establecieron las clases de edad y sus respectivas longitudes estándar promedio por medio de un método directo (lectura de anillos de crecimiento) y uno indirecto (método de Cassie); con ello se obtuvo el crecimiento máximo, la constante de crecimiento y el parámetro de condición inicial mediante la ecuación de crecimiento en talla y peso de Ludwing von Bertalanffy para la población y por sexos, temporadas del año y sexos para estas temporadas;

173 Cichlasoma trimaculatum organisms were analyzed; they were collected during dry and rainy seasons in the Atoyac-Paso de la Reina sub basin, with the objective of determining the aspects of growth and gonadal maturity of this specie’s population in this study area. Age categories were established along with their respective average standard length by a direct method (reading of annual growth rings) and an indirect method (Cassie Method). The maximum growth and the consistency of growth and the parameter of the initial condition were obtained through the Ludwing von Bertalanffy equation of growth in size and weight to the population by sex, by seasons and by sex for those seasons.
