Resumen
Mixed structures can provide greater strength and rigidity to the structure due to the interaction between its two constituent materials, concrete and steel. The mixed truss with tubular profiles, in turn, can, in addition to these advantages already provided by this type of system, be a great alternative for construction of buildings or bridges that need to overcome large spans, in addition to providing a reduction in the structure's own weight. The objective of this work was to carry out a theoretical and numerical comparative analysis between two beams using the mixed system, one in a truss structure with tubular profiles and another beam using a full web in I profile, both bisupported, under the same loading conditions and overcoming a span. of 18 meters. The studies were carried out based on the requirements of current Brazilian technical standards and with results obtained through analytical and numerical analyses. The work showed that the composite truss presented a significantly lower self-weight of the structure as well as a smaller number of connectors, compared to the composite beam in i profile.
