This paper presents the analysis of themes developed in reflective reports, produced by Letters course students of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and integrated practices of academic literacy, aiming to train better teachers of basic education. The research, qualitative approach (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986), based on subject concepts and language of the Bakhtin Circle studies (1886, 2003), and mobilize concepts in the education sector related to teacher training. Following trend analysis of autobiographical genres, the results suggest that the production of reflective reports may help the author to reflect on experiences of his student time in basic education, giving new meaning to them, to want to move away, the professional future, those who considered not significant and confirm that evaluates as productive.
