Resumen
In Brazil there is a significant presence of soft soils in all its territoriais extension, with greater intensity in the coastal coasts. The soft soils are basically composed of clayey sediments or clayey loamy sand, with unfavorable characteristics such as high compressibility and low shear strength. Landfills built on these soils need more attention to stability issues, it is necessary that these characteristics be understood in order to identify constructive alternatives that reduce possible impacts due to the presence of soils with these aspects. This study aimed to identify the best alternative for the execution of three storage and distribution sheds in a partly incorporated land in an area with predominant soft soil characteristics in the city of Contagem, MG.
