Resumen
The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is defined as a neurodevelopmental disorder, with diagnostic criteria related to permanent deficit in social communication and in social treatment when in diversified environment, with repetitive and/or restricted patterns in areas of behavior, interests, and activities. The purpose of the following research is to evidence which motor interventions can improve fundamental motor abilities in children and adolescents, with ages between 6 and 18 years old, diagnosed with ASD. The research was conducted through randomized scientific articles (RTC), available in virtual health libraries and scientific databases: LILACS, SciELO, PubMed and Scopus. The PEDro scale was utilized for methodological quality evaluation. Ten studies were identified presenting different intervention tools in fundamental motor skills. It was concluded that those interventions can improve fundamental motor abilities in children and adolescents with ASD, but it was shown to be necessary to deepen the research and to promote new studies.
