Resumen
The aim of this article is to identify intelligent alternatives for the preservation of cultural heritage in a context of smart cities. For this, a literature review was conducted contemplating articles from 2004 to 2019 retrieved from the Google Scholar and Portal Capes platforms. The keywords used for search were smart cities e preservação patrimonial; cidades inteligentes e preservação patrimonial; patrimônio inteligente and smart heritage. Of the 80 articles recovered, those who proposed intelligent alternatives for the conservation of cultural heritage were selected. From then on, it was possible to identify a set of tools aimed at preserving the heritage that could be reflected in the scope of the smart cities. Through the selected content, it is identified that the 3D scanning techniques, the Building Information Modeling (BIM), the mobile applications for integrated management of asset preservation and the sensors for acquisition and analysis of data from the collections in real time are, some of the possibilities for planning the preservation of cultural heritage inthe context of the smart cities.
