Um estudo dos gêneros orais aula espetáculo e aula show

Abstract

This article deals with the characterization of the Aula Espetáculo (AE) and the Aula Show (AS), as well as the establishment of the difference between them, discussing whether AE and AS are really new genres. Also considered are the similarities and differences with other genres, such as the show, class, conference and workshop. For this, we use the genre categories from Bakhtin. It was observed that the Aula Espetáculo is a genre that mixes class and show characteristics around questions of art and popular culture, with exposition and exhibition of and on these issues. The Aula Show is a genre of short performance, which emerges in the interior of another, more routine, the class, bringing a new scenography and highlighting by its informal and playful tone.
