Resumen
Objective: To compare and evaluate, in vitro, the influence of the organic matrix and load types of a composite in both BIS-GMA based and silorane-Based composite resins on the Vickers microhardness (MV). Materials and methods: The composite resins used were Filtek P90® (3m) And FiltekTM 350XT® (3m). With the aid of a bipar-tite Teflon matrix, 10 specimens were prepared for each resin, analyzed in 2 different surfaces (top and base) totalizing 40 analyses. The microhardness tests were performed using HMV-2T® (Shimadzu) Microdurometer, and the mean mV was obtained considering the averages of the four edentations of each surface. Data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) and multiple comparisons by Tukey test. For statistical significance measurement, p < 0.05 or α = 5% was considered. Results: Statistically significant differences were found when comparing Filtek Z350® base and Filtek Z350 XT® Top, Filtek p90® base and Filtek Z350 xt® Top, Filtek p90® top and Filtek Z350 xt® Top (p < 0.01). The Filtek p90® base and Filtek p90® top surface values were not statistically significantly different. Conclusions: The distance from the light source in relation to the surface of the resin composite, the size and distribution of the load particles influenced The MV of the resinous composite
