Influência do processo de acabamento na nuança da cor em tecidos: uma análise através do planejamento de experimentos

Abstract

The color change in fabrics after the finishing step in textile processing, is an important variable to be analyzed, in order to achieve the color uniformity and to comply pre-established standards, thus maintaining the quality of the final fabric. It was determined as main hypothesis, that the chemicals used in finishing and reaction temperature, they are able to influence the nuance of color, using the amounts indicated by suppliers. To check the influence of the finishing process on the result of the nuance of color, has been selected the statistical tool "Design of Experiments". With this tool it is possible to assess whether the factors identified within the indicated range of variation - chemicals and temperature - can generate significant change in the response variable - nuance of color. All steps performed in the design of experiments are presented, as well as relevant study observations and findings.
