Resumen
This study had as its central objective to identify and analyze the academic production on the
body and the school, more specifically, the black body in school Physical Education. This
movement was guided by the decolonial perspective of education and focused on the field of
education of ethnic-racial relations and on the territory of school physical education. In this
sense, it was intended to discuss how the field of knowledge production has invested its social
responsibility to encourage and produce knowledge about the black body, school and Physical
Education. The question that motivates this trail is whether the production of educational
knowledge has been consistent and sufficient to face the invisibility of the black body in the
school environment and in Physical Education, whether due to the quantity or quality of
research on this topic. Certain that the school trajectory marks the subjects in the most diverse
ways, whether in the construction of identities and/or in the fragmentation of subjectivities, I
believe it is important to establish dialogues that provide interactions with ancestral histories,
thus providing students with another look at itself and about the story. Bringing to the school
floor a live curriculum that considers history, identity knowledge and black men and women.
The body is my first gateway, access to the world, to spaces. My connection with others, with
my senses and with my feeling. Assuming a black body, assuming a black identity hurts. In this
place we come into contact with many contradictions, which inhabit who we are and the world
we need to live in. We leave the space, the place of inadequacy, to seek a trajectory that frees us
from wanting, being who we don't need. that keep black bodies starring in the same spaces and
places of a violence of which I am just an example, a small and painful sample of it.
