The return of residues to the cultivation system provides several benefits to the soil and plants, mainly by the addition of organic matter and nutrients. In this study, the objective was to determine the carbon content in different compartments of the pineapple 'Pérola' under different irrigation depths. The treatments consisted of irrigation blades based on the evaporation of the class A tank (ECA): 30%, 50%, 70%,100% and150% of the ECA. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with five treatments and four replications, with the four central plants of the plot being collected. After collecting the plants and preparing the samples, the carbon content of each compartment of the plant (root, stem, leaf D, total leaves, fruit and crown) was determined. Statistical analysis of the data included analysis of variance with the F test, and, subsequently, a principal component statistical analysis (PCA) was performed. There were no statistical differences (p <0.05) between the water depths for the various compartments of the pineapple. However, through the ACP, the water depths of 50 and 70% of the ECA favored the highest levels of carbon, since they grouped most of the compartments. The decreasing order of carbon content was stalk (50.53%), leaf D (49.45%), total leaves (48.52%), crown (43.99%), fruit (42.76%) and root (39.01%).
