Resumen
This article objective is to investigate the perception, evaluation and behavior of occupants arising from the environmental context of green and smart buildings. User behavior has been considered a key element for human-building interaction studies. As such, activity prediction has been used to control various devices such as artificial light, heating, ventilation and air conditioning to mitigate environmental impacts while creating a comfortable and safe working environment. What, then, are the most relevant behaviors and their impacts on green and smart buildings? The answer to this question was based on literature systematization on human interaction with green and smart buildings. The results propose that in order to make buildings efficient and comfortable, they need to respond in a more agile, adaptable and interactive way to users' activities and preferences and to their environmental context.
