Análisis de los riesgos laborales y ambientales del transporte marítimo de hidrocarburos en Colombia

Abstract

This article seeks to outline the various labor and environmental hazards encountered in the maritime transport of hydrocarbons in Colombia, the relevance in this constant use of maritime activity, as well as the positive involvement of hydrocarbons in the life of man is established, but on the other hand, and with a high degree of concern a number of occupational hazards and environmental impact that not being handled properly can cause a major disaster on marine and terrestrial biota, so preventive strategies are discussed arise to control and minimize both labor and environmental incidents, one of the tools involved is representing occupational health or safety of workers handling these vessels. This work is theoretical and reflective type and is based on a documentary and descriptive study, with both texts and specialized reports, theses and refereed journals. The analysis of labor and environmental maritime transport of hydrocarbons in Colombia risks, makes evident the current problems of the whole process that is subject to this trade by ship from the port to the start point of arrival, both the environment external (environmental) and internal (working environment).

Este articulo busca esbozar los distintos riesgos laborales y ambientales que se presentan en el transporte marítimo de hidrocarburos en Colombia, en este se establece la relevancia del constante uso de la actividad marítima, como también la participación positiva de hidrocarburos en la vida del hombre, pero por otro lado y con un alto grado de preocupación se exponen una serie de riesgos laborales e impacto ambientales que al no ser manipulados adecuadamente puede ser causa de una catástrofe de gran magnitud en la biota marina y ecosistemas terrestres, de tal manera se plantean estrategias preventivas para controlar y minimizar los incidentes tanto laborales como ambientales, una de las herramientas que intervienen es la salud o ocupacional que representa la seguridad de los trabajadores que manejan este tipo de embarcaciones. Este trabajo, es de tipo teórico-reflexivo, y se basa en una investigación documental y descriptiva, fundamentada tanto en textos especializados como en informes, tesis y revistas indexadas. El análisis de los riesgos laborales y ambientales del transporte marítimo de hidrocarburos en Colombia, permite evidenciar la problemática actual de todo el proceso al que está sometida esta actividad comercial por medio de buques desde el puerto de inicio hasta el lugar de arribo, tanto el entorno externo (medio ambiente), como el interno (clima laboral).
