Intención Emprendedora De Los Jóvenes Caficultores Afiliados A La Federación Nacional De Cafeteros De Colombia. Caso De Estudio: El Carmen, Zapatoca, Betulia, San Vicente De Chucurí Y Galán

Abstract

Thanks to the National Census of Coffee Growers, carried out in 2021, the Federation was able to identify that coffee households are getting smaller, with a greater presence of the adult population and fewer young people and children who relieve the current generation in the work of the countryside, because they seek new opportunities and with better income in the cities. For this reason, the entrepreneurial intention of the young coffee growers affiliated with the company, located at the El Carmen de Chucurí, Zapatoca, Betulia, San Vicente de Chucurí and Galán headquarters, was explored through quantitative explanatory research, with the help of the survey as a data collection instrument, through a non-probabilistic convenience sampling of 32 young people from this location.
