Resumen
The hardware sector has a high degree of informality, due to the fact that they are not legally constituted, which means that they do not fully comply with the regulations and expose workers to an accident or occupational disease. Based on the foregoing, employers must comply with the healthy work environments that the World Labor Organization proposes.
However, construction goes hand in hand with the hardware sector, since the sale and distribution of materials for buildings depends on it, generating economic activity throughout the country. According to the Colombian chamber of construction, the realization of buildings and the public housing policy has been establishing a support for the economy in the country. In this sense, the advantages of economy and productivity that the hardware sector welcomes, it is extremely fundamental to give importance to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, because it facilitates and helps improve the working conditions of workers, guaranteeing their system. health and life, and of course, the well-being of the organization.
Once done, it continues to know what are the dangers and risks that are found in the workplace. In this way, the processes and/or tasks carried out by the workers and their work areas are observed. With respect to the first two, the particularities of the different occupational risks are evaluated, such as: walls, floors, ventilation and thermal conditions, infrastructure, noise levels, postures, repetitive movements, chemical substances, both cognitive activity as emotional. Once identified, we continue to search for methods of evaluating working conditions.
