Estrategias de prevención en el presentismo laboral: una revisión desde la seguridad y salud en el trabajo

Abstract

Presenteeism occurs when workers come to work when they are sick or not in optimal shape, producing negative effects on productivity, quality of work and health. This descriptive monograph examines current strategies to prevent presenteeism, such as creating a culture of wellness in the organization, implementing work flexibility policies, encouraging communication between employees and employers, and promoting occupational health programs. In conclusion, the prevention of presenteeism is an important issue for occupational safety and health, and the implementation of effective strategies is essential to improve the quality of life of workers and the success of the organization.
