Resumen
This research is aimed at identifying and analyzing the mental health interventions that have
been carried out to control and reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety present in health
professionals, due to Covid-19. The research design is approached from the quantitative
approach through a descriptive-exploratory cut. As a type of research, a Systematic Review of
the literature was used, which allowed collecting the greatest scientific evidence available about
the present research topic. The initial search yielded a total of 2080 articles, of which 60 formed
the initial selection phase of the studies. Subsequently, an exhaustive analysis was carried out on
the content of the selected articles using the guidelines offered by the Cochrane manual of
Systematic Reviews together with the Prisma Declaration. Finally, complying with the inclusion
and quality criteria required by the research, a final sample of 12 articles was selected, which in
their research presented a specific type of mental health intervention. Of the 12 articles, 10 use
an intervention from the cognitive-behavioral approach, applying techniques such as
Mindfulness, Mindfulness and Psychoeducation, 2 use an intervention from the psychoanalytic
approach. It is mainly concluded that mental health interventions aimed at health professionals
are limited. It is necessary to deepen and strengthen more proposals that guarantee efficient
solutions in the protection of the mental health of this population.
