Resumen
Objective: To describe the tests used to measure dynamic visual acuity, through what has been reported in the literature. Methodology: The present work was developedor using the methodology of a systematic literature review. The search equations were presented in three languages Spanish, English and Portuguese. From the publications, bibliometric information was extracted from the last 20 years from 2002 to 2023, and that related to the types of diagnostic tests used for the evaluation of dynamic visual acuity. Expected result: The search was performed in 7 databases: Google Scholar, Pubmed, Elsevier, Scielo, E-libro, ScienceDired, Scopus. Sixteen articles out of a total of 430,429 met the inclusion criteria. The most commonly used test to assess ADL was the C of landolt. The information supports that athletes report better ADL than sedentary people (A task to assess dynamic visual acuity an assessment of the stability of its measurements, Origins of superior dynamic visual acuity in baseball players: superior eye movements or superior image processing, Applications of dynamic visual acuity testing in clinical ophthalmology, Eye examination protocol for archery athletes along with an introduction to sports vision).
