Resumen
The work entitled Inclusion of the non-hearing community through the implementation of sign language in basic education in Bogota D.C., Colombia, aims to The purpose of the work entitled Inclusion of the non-hearing community from the implementation of sign language in basic education in Bogotá D.C. is to conduct a study on how the implementation of sign language in basic education institutions will begin to make a change that will contribute to the inclusion of this community, in addition to this, it seeks to raise awareness among hearing people about the importance of this. The methodology used was Action Research ( AR). The instruments used were interviews and surveys, which allowed to identify the shortcomings of the society in relation to the integration of this community.
The phases that were carried out were the following: first, a search was made in primary sources; then interviews were conducted with people close to the non-hearing community; then information was collected and finally a triangulation of the data obtained was achieved.
