This research analyzes the characteristics of a network that promotes the formation of transformative innovation, in order to extract the most important aspects that give strength to this type of alliances and formal and informal agreements, and in this way, offer guidance on the capabilities that must be developed to execute projects with this approach, in such a way that they can be replicated in different contexts. Quantitative analyzes of network metrics are presented, based on Network Theory. In addition, an instrument is proposed to measure technological and transformative innovation capabilities, which is used within a case analysis. It was found that the centrality metrics: average degree, Harmonic Closeness, Betweeness centrality and Page Rank, tend to coincide with the actors with the best performance regarding the technological capabilities of linkage and diffusion, and likewise with the transformative capabilities of generating information. networks and generation of expectations. It is also identified that the technological capacities of appropriation and market, together with the transformative capabilities of: autonomy, incidence and legitimacy, relational governance and scaling, are the most difficult to manage. Finally, it is expected to contribute to a much clearer conceptual scheme for all interest groups that wish to carry out projects of this type.
